Devido à elevada procura de cursos na área do Conceito Mulligan, Brian Mulligan decidiu credenciar formadores, a nível internacional. Em 1995, criou a Mulligan Concept Teachers Association, em Stevenage, no Reino Unido.

 

Actualmente, existem 54 formadores em 24 países: Europa (Portugal, Finlândia, Alemanha, Grécia, Irlanda, Itália, Israel, Holanda, Dinamarca, Suécia, Lituânia, Reino Unido, Bélgica e Noruega), América do Norte (Estados Unidos da América e Canadá), América do Sul (Brasil), Ásia (China, Índia, Tailândia, Japão, Bahrain e Arábia Saudita), África (África do Sul) e Oceânia (Nova Zelândia e Austrália).

 

Todos os professores têm formação pós-graduada em Terapia Manual, de acordo com os requisitos da International Federation of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Para além disso, passaram por um extenso programa de formação e avaliação, de modo a garantir-se a mais elevada qualidade.

 

FRANCISCO NETO MSc, COMT, CMP, MCTA

Francisco Neto graduated in Physiotherapy at the Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Sousa, in Portugal. He completed his Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton (United Kingdom) and the Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at the Curtin University of Technology (Australia).
He has been an international MSK Physiotherapy lecturer since 2008. Most of his teaching activity is related to the Mulligan Concept, being part of the international Mulligan Concept Teachers Association. He has presented over 300 courses in different countries around the world: Angola, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Malta and Switzerland.
He has been a university lecturer since 2001. He has been a lecturer at different Universities both in Portugal and Spain: Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Sousa, Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Ave, Escola Superior de Saúde do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Porto, Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão, Universidad Europea de Madrid y Fundación San Pablo Andalucía CEU.
Francisco works clinically exclusively with musculoskeletal patients at his private clinic in Portugal, using an evidenced informed practice.  He is also the Director and CEO of Formaterapia, a continuous professional development center based in Portugal. He is a former vice-president of the Manual Therapy Interest Group of the Portuguese Association of Physiotherapists. At the present, he is a member of the General Council of the Portuguese Physiotherapy regulating professional body (Ordem dos Fisioterapeutas).
He has a number of publications in international conferences and peer-reviewed journals and is a reviewer of different scientific journals such as Clinical Rehabilitation, Journal of Manual & Manipulative Therapy and European Journal of Oral Sciences.
